Commission per order

The commission is charged per executed order, not per contract. See how it works and simulate what a trade costs.

Each order executed on the platform pays a commission. It is deducted from the account's simulated balance and counts in the daily result.

Per order, not per contract

  • The commission is per executed order, not per contract: an order with one contract or with twenty pays the same amount.
  • Entry and exit are separate orders: each one pays the commission.
  • Exiting a position in several orders pays the commission on each of them.
  • An order filled in several parts pays once.
  • A canceled or unexecuted order doesn't pay. Stops and targets are orders too: they pay when they are executed.

The commission is per executed order, not per contract: 1 or 20 contracts in the same order pay the same amount. The amount charged on each order is shown on the platform, and that is the one that counts.

Example

You buy five contracts in one order and sell all five in one order: that's two executed orders. If you sell the five in five orders of one contract, that's six executed orders, and the commission is charged six times.

How to spend less on commission

Plan your exit. Exiting a position all at once costs less than exiting in many small orders. Extra orders are worth it when they are part of your method, not when they come from impulse.

The platform amount prevails

The amount charged on each order is shown on the platform, and that is the one that counts. The daily result used in the rules already includes commissions.
