How the EXL Trading League works
Trading tournaments on a simulated account, with a live ranking and an EXL account as the prize: the formats, the rules and the EXL Ranking.
The EXL Trading League (ETL) is EXL Trade's tournament league. It is a trading skill competition: each participant trades a simulated account on the BlackArrow platform, and the placing depends only on the result of their trades. There is no draw, no guessing and no betting.
The formats
- ETL Daily
- One session
- one edition per session
- ETL Series
- Consecutive sessions
- a new edition every session
- ETL Weekly
- One week
- the week's sessions
- EXL Ranking
- Free
- weekly and monthly, for customers
Editions run continuously, one after another, built from the CME session calendar. Each edition's page shows the sessions, the times in Brasília, the entry fee, the spots and the prize accounts.
What you trade
- A simulated account, just for the edition, on the BlackArrow platform. The balance is fictitious and can't be withdrawn.
- The allowed instruments, the contract limit, the starting balance and the loss limit are on the edition page. In tournaments, only mini contracts are allowed.
- There is no daily loss limit.
- In ETL Daily, there is no overnight. In ETL Series and ETL Weekly, you can hold a position from one session to the next, within the edition's window.
- Bots and automation are allowed, as long as they follow the rules.
The prize
The prize is an EXL account, the same as a purchased account of the same product. It is set by placing and announced on the edition page before sales open, and it doesn't depend on the number of entrants. There is no cash prize.
EXL Ranking
Existing customers also take part in the EXL Ranking: free, with no sign-up, in weekly and monthly cycles. Every customer with an active EXL account joins automatically, and the ranking doesn't change anything in your account's rules.
The official rules
Each edition follows the official rules, which are on the tournament page and accepted before you pay. If there is any difference, the edition page at the time of your entry prevails.
Skill competition on a simulated account. Tournament results do not guarantee future results. Trading in the real market involves risk of loss.
