Tournament entry and account

How to enter an edition, pay the entry fee, receive the account and what happens if the edition is canceled.

You enter in the EXL dashboard, under Tournaments, on the edition page. From payment to opening, everything happens automatically.

  1. 1

    Choose the edition

Under Tournaments, choose the format and the edition. The page shows the sessions, the times in Brasília, the entry fee, the spots and the prizes.

  2. 2

    Accept the rules

Before paying, you read and accept the edition's official rules.

  3. 3

    Pay the entry fee

The entry fee is set in dollars and charged in reais at the day's PTAX rate, by Pix or card, in a single payment. The amount in reais is shown before you pay.

  4. 4

    Spot confirmed

Your spot is only confirmed once the payment is approved. Spots are filled in order of confirmation.

  5. 5

    Account set up

When entries close, the edition account is set up, and you receive an e-mail with your access details.

  6. 6

    Opening

When the first session opens, all participants' accounts are unlocked at the same time. Buying earlier doesn't let you trade earlier.

Payment

  • Pix: the code is valid for a short time, shown on screen. If it expires, the reserved spot becomes available again, and you can generate a new Pix while spots remain.
  • Card: single payment. Installments only appear when the edition page offers them.
  • Entries close before the first session opens, at the time shown on the page.

The edition account

  • The account is only valid for the edition: it is blocked at the end and closed afterwards.
  • If you already trade on BlackArrow through EXL, the edition account shows up under the same login. If not, you get a login just for the edition, at no extra cost.
  • Install the platform and test your login before the opening.
  • At the closing time, the account is blocked: pending orders are canceled and the position is closed. Only trades opened and closed within the edition's hours count.

Cancellation and refunds

  • Each format has a minimum number of participants. If the edition doesn't reach the minimum when entries close, it is canceled, and the amount paid is fully refunded, without you having to ask.
  • An edition may also be canceled before the opening for technical reasons or force majeure, with a full refund.
  • Once paid, the entry fee is non-refundable: withdrawing, not showing up, disqualification or not trading the account don't entitle you to a refund.
  • On a refund, the amount paid in reais goes back through the same method: for Pix, to the source account; for card, on your statement, within your bank's timeline.

The official rules

The full rules for each edition are in the official rules, on the tournament page, accepted before you pay.
