Reset or Extra Boost?

A reset and an Extra Boost look like the same thing, but they're not. A reset restarts an evaluation that failed. An Extra Boost only exists on the EXL Career levels and keeps your career from ending when you hit a level's loss limit.

Reset

Restarts the evaluation

Flex, Pro and the Career Challenge

Extra Boost

Goes back one level

only on the Career levels

Reset

• In EXL Funding, it applies to a failed Flex or Pro evaluation. You get a new evaluation account, with the same rules, for a percentage of what you paid.
• New Sprint purchases, funded accounts and Direct have no reset.
• In EXL Career, the Challenge reset restarts the Challenge, with each plan's own price. It only applies to the Challenge.
• A reset is requested after the failure, and the price is shown in My Accounts.

Extra Boost

• It's an EXL Career add-on, bought at checkout only, with a maximum number per subscription.
• When you hit a level's Max Loss Limit, the level account is closed and the extra boost immediately releases the previous level, in a new account. On Level 1, you restart Level 1.
• There's a minimum wait between one use and the next. Without an available extra boost, including when the next one is still in its wait, hitting a level's limit ends your career.
• Trigger receivables you haven't requested yet are forfeited when the account hits the limit, with or without an extra boost.

The difference, in one sentence

A reset gives you a new evaluation; an Extra Boost keeps you in your career, one level down.
