Refunds

When you can cancel for a full refund, why there is no refund after release and the exceptions.

The rule is simple: before your account is released, you can cancel and get all your money back. After release, the service has started and there is no refund.

Before the account is released

You can cancel within 7 days of the purchase and get a full refund, as long as the account has not been released yet.

After release

Once the account is released, the service starts right away, at your request: the account is created and access to the platform and market data is activated. That is why, after release, there is no full or partial refund, including for giving up, not using the account, failing, blocking or closing under the rules or for breach of the Terms.

Release is usually immediate

For most purchases, the account is released right after the payment is confirmed (at most within 72 business hours). So if you want to cancel, you need to do it before release.

Exceptions

  • The account was not released within 72 business hours for a reason attributable to EXL.
  • A duplicate charge or a charge for the wrong amount.
  • A failure solely attributable to EXL that cannot be compensated.

In these cases, contact support. The review is completed within 5 business days, and an approved refund goes back to the payment method used for the purchase.

EXL Career

You can cancel your subscription whenever you want, on the chat with our team. The account is closed, future charges stop and the current month is not refunded.

Card disputes

Talk to support first

Disputing a payment with your bank or card issuer without talking to support first suspends your accounts and holds your payouts until it is resolved.

Example

You buy an account and it is released right away. The next day, you change your mind: there is no refund, because the service has already started. If the purchase had been charged twice, the extra charge would be refunded after review.

If you live outside Brazil and the law of your country gives you more protection, the law of your country applies.
