Level-ups and trigger receivables
When you move up a level, what a trigger receivable is, how it is paid and when it is forfeited.
Your plan's values
The trigger is the profit that moves you up a level. Hit the trigger with consistency met, and you move up right away while the trigger amount is set aside for you: that is the trigger receivable, paid with a 90% profit split.
Why it exists
The trigger marks the moment you have proven the level. Instead of waiting for a date, the account grows as soon as the results and the consistency are there.
How a level-up works
- 1
Realized profit at the trigger
What counts is the profit from closed trades, with no open position in the account.
- 2
Consistency met
No day can be more than 30% of the level's profit, measured from the start of the level until now.
- 3
Instant level-up
In real time, on any day. A new account opens on the next level.
- 4
Trigger receivable
The trigger amount becomes receivable, with a 90% profit split. Profit above the trigger does not carry over to the next level: it is reset to zero.
- 5
Request it in the dashboard
You request the trigger receivable in a payout window, starting with the window after the level-up. If you don't request it, it waits for the next window.
Hit the trigger without consistency
You keep trading on the same level until consistency is met. Until then, you don't move up and no payout is released.
Payouts on a level reduce your progress
Payouts come out of the profit in the level's account. So every payout you take on a level lowers your accumulated profit and puts the trigger further away. Withdrawing now or moving up faster is your call.
When a trigger receivable is forfeited
Request your trigger receivable
If the account hits the Max Loss Limit before you request it, the trigger receivable is forfeited, with or without an Extra Boost. Hitting the total loss limit means the profit was given back. If your career ends, any trigger receivables not yet requested are forfeited too.
Example
On EXL Career: you are on Level 1 and your realized profit passes the trigger, with no session above 30% of the level's profit. Right away, the Level 2 account opens, the profit above the trigger is reset to zero and the Level 1 trigger becomes receivable. In the next window, you request it and receive 90% of it. If the Level 2 account hits the limit before your request, that amount is forfeited.
