The profit target is how much the evaluation account needs to make to pass. On EXL Flex 50K, the target is US$ 3,000: the balance needs to reach US$ 53,000.

Why it exists

Respecting the limits shows that you protect capital. The target shows the other side: that your method makes real profit at the account's size. Together, they are what a funded account needs.

How it works

  • What counts is net profit: the result of closed trades, after commissions.
  • The target alone doesn't pass you. You also need to meet the minimum days (3 days traded) and consistency (40%).
  • The pass only happens after the session closes, with the day's result final. Hitting the target during the session doesn't pass you right away.
  • If your best day goes over the consistency limit, the target rises, and the dashboard shows the new target.

Example

On the 50K: you start with US$ 50,000. Closed a session with the balance at US$ 53,000 or more? The US$ 3,000 target is met. If the other rules are also met, the review starts on its own.

Hit the target: now what?

You don't need to ask for anything. After the session closes, EXL checks the account and replies within 1 business day. Once you pass, you get a new funded account of the same size, and the evaluation account is closed.

What about Direct?

Direct has no evaluation and no pass target. It has a payout target for each payout cycle, explained in How EXL Direct works.
